Traditional Ashtanga practice follows the same sequence of poses which requires the practitioner to hold each pose for five breaths before moving through a variety of other poses. Power Yoga, on the other hand, is considered more of a Yoga workout that’s challenging and will make you sweat. Power Yoga classes move through the poses with an even faster rhythm pace and is a great way to build strength, cardiovascular and mental endurance.
