STAR OF 1ST QUARTER – MS. HONG ANH

Our Star of the first Quarter of 2017 is Ms Hong Anh. Here at Star Fitness we value people’s efforts in joining us to become healthier and happier. It is a big achievement to work to regain fitness, energy and body shape after an event that has changed your body. Our Star of the Quarter, Ms Anh, has worked extremely hard to regain her fitness and body shape after her pregnancy. She has attained excellent results in just 6 months after giving birth – Here is her story…

“I came back to Star Fitness last August after my pregnancy. At the time, I weighed 61kg. when I started to workout again and in just 6 months I lost 10kg… I’m now very happy to be 51kg. I have given a lot of my time and effort but I’ve been determined to get back to the slim shape I used to have before.”

“Star Fitness is great! It never fails to make me happy and pleased to workout there. I don’t ever regret choosing Star Fitness as my second home! The instructors have been great! They constantly give me advice on my diet plan and correcting my posture during my workouts. “When I started back exercising again, I took into my consideration my health condition (after giving birth) and chose to start easily with some fun dance classes. These were great and filled me with energy. After 2 weeks, I joined Mr. Dung’s Yoga classes, which helped me to regain my flexibility and endurance. What I like about Star Fitness’ class schedule is its variety of choice, so I could easily find myself enjoying the class at my physical level. In just 1 month, I found I could add weight training and advance Yoga classes into my training routine. I’m presently coming to the gym every morning for weight training primarily focusing on gluteus and abs muscles. I’ve also included some squats and donkey kicks which I received a lot of technique correction from Mr. Tuan. It was brilliant! For me, I’ve found the weight training works the best in forming the body shape I want and for increasing fat loss during my rest time.  However, for maximum results, I was advised to combine strength training with flexibility by adding Yoga 3 classes a week in my workout routine which I intend to do in the future.

Furthermore, I am also adding some “hard-core” classes and high intensity workouts on my own. It’s always the best when you can sweat! I’m satisfied with my body now and I know this fitness journey will continue to last. For me, fitness is not a fade, it’s a lifestyle. I will continue to workout every day, not to lose more weight but to maintain a healthy and happy body… physically and mentally!”
